Working on the Microsoft Pinpoint Team was a pleasure and I learned so much about the software industry early on in my career. Being a part of a creative team, working with a project manager for the first time, sitting in team meetings and helping with usabiliity testing were some of the highlights of my time at Microsoft.

 

My role was primarily content editing and writing. I reached out to partners whos profiles were not in alignment with Microsoft brand guidelines and helped those people get their profile edited and updated. What was supposed to be a 2 week contract turned into a 2 year contract because the team at Pinpoint loved the way I spoke with customers on the phone and the professional way I guided them in updating without being offensive. For many of our partners, English was not their first language.
